	What Churches Can Do
Present the Family Week program to the local Ministerial Alliance and ask for their support in strengthening families within the community. If possible have one member of the Family Week committee attend the Ministerial Alliance meetings monthly as a Family Week representative. Ask churches to appoint representatives to the various Family Week committees. Ask churches to participate in the Sacred Music Festival. Ask churches to nominate a “Family of the Year” from their congregation. Ask ministers to focus their Sunday services on "Putting Families First." Ask congregations to plan a "family" activity for the community during Family Week.
